{"id":46823,"title":"2021 Siege on Misery","description":"The start of the 77th Grand Battalion and overcoming suicidal thoughts through painting.","content":"<p>Prior to this event I (Mr A) was in a dark place, I felt I had lost a lot of what made me who I was, I struggled from day to day to find a reason to go on.<br \/><br \/>My mental health was all over the place and the thought of being a burden to thoughts around me was a hefty weight around my neck.<br \/><br \/>It took a combination of different things, like making a call to the CALM helpline one dark night, spending more time with the people who loved me, getting back into therapy, taking time for myself and even a good old lore dive which lead me to a certain legions unbreakable litany that helped me overcome them dark thoughts.<br \/><br \/>I decided then I would like to try and give something back, there was no raffle, no giveaways just a man recovering from a dark time in his life, utilising his hobby and sharing what he had learnt with others who may also be struggling.<br \/><br \/>Little did I realise that, that litany would become a sort of mantra and thoughts miniatures I painted would go on to being one of my largest collection of miniatures.<br \/><br \/><em>From iron cometh strength!
